About Echols Glass & Mirror
Echols Glass & Mirror, Inc. was incorporated in 1988, but our story began long before that. As a young boy, I watched my dad build his own glass company, A&A Glazing Contractors in Decatur, GA, and those early experiences shaped the foundation of my career. During my time in the Navy, I continued to grow in the industry — first in Key West, FL, and later in Honolulu, HI, where I worked for Reflections Glass while Donna and I were stationed there.
When we returned to Georgia in 1986, I continued honing my craft with Plymart Specialties as an installer. By 1988, we felt called to build something of our own, and Echols Glass & Mirror, Inc. was born. We spent our first nine years in Lawrenceville before expanding to Norcross, where we continued to grow for the next decade. In 2007, we reached a major milestone when we moved into our own stand-alone warehousing facility in Buford. With the purchase of our first tempering furnace and additional production equipment, we began serving not only homeowners and contractors, but also other companies within the glass industry.
In October of 2025, Echols Glass proudly joined the Installed Building Products (IBP) family. This partnership strengthens our ability to expand, innovate, and continue delivering the exceptional service our customers have trusted for decades. With IBP’s national backing and resources, we are positioned to grow our capabilities while maintaining the same local leadership, craftsmanship, and customer-first values that define who we are.
Today, we serve Atlanta, the metro area, and surrounding regions, with established delivery routes into Tennessee, South Carolina, and North Carolina. From the beginning, our mission has remained the same: to provide unmatched quality, custom craftsmanship, and superior customer service. Our full-service production facility offers a wide range of customized products, including frameless shower doors, custom mirror work, antique mirrors, custom closet systems, and insulated glass — all tailored to meet the unique needs of our customers.
We appreciate the opportunity to partner with you on your project and earn your trust.
